Spiritual direction, or accompaniment, is at its heart a gift of hospitality. It involves offering a safe, confidential space in which a person can explore aspects of their own spirituality, past, present and future. As a trained listener, I can help with those reflections and accompany a person on their journey.

Together, we can look for signs of God in all aspects of everyday life. This could include relationships, faith communities, work and the wider created world. It is about listening to people’s stories, and is with the understanding God is the true Director.

I offer an initial, free taster session, usually in my home, followed by three further sessions and a review. Spiritual direction relationships might last only that long, or can last for many years.

I am on the ecumenical list of directors for Bath and Wells Diocese and am part of the UK Community of Spiritual Directors through the London Spirituality Centre. I follow the guidelines of Spiritual Directors International on professional and ethical practice.

If you want to explore spiritual accompaniment, please contact me (see Contact me page). At the moment, due to the coronavirus, sessions are taking place using Zoom.
